Betrayed
St. Martin’s Griffin-Challenged in the North Star Borough School
District, Fairbanks, Alaska high school libraries (2011) because, “It simply causes kids to think even more of things sexual.” The teenage vampire novel is part two of the “House of Night”
( I have this love/hate relationship with this series. The first few books I loved, but soon it started to turn into a more soap opera feel. Don't get me wrong Read the first for books.)

Myracle, Lauren
ttyl
Amulet Books-Retained in the Ponus Ridge Middle School library in Norwalk, Conn. (2010). While some critics decry its style as “grammatically incorrect,” most who take exception point to its “foul language,” sexual content, and questionable sexual behavior. It is
the first book written entirely in the format of instant messaging — the title itself is a shorthand reference to “talk to you later.”

FOLLOW FRIDAY

What book that hasn't been turned into a movie (yet) would you most like to see make it to the big screen, and who would you like cast as your favorite character?
Okay, this is just ridiculous. I think from here on out I just won't read the question and answer Vampire academy. :) It seems to work everytime. i don't really have a set cast in mind I would just be super freakin, fan-girly excited to see it be a movie (even though it might be ruined) I'm totally still game. A few others I think my make for an interesting movie are Enclave by Ann Aguirre, The Gallagher Girl Series by Ally Carter. What's not to love about spies? I know there are probably more, but I can't think.

  1. Hopping through. I'd love to see Gallagher Girls as a movie. It'd be a good TV show too.

  3. I love the VA series :) I'm super obsessed with it! I need to reread it :) I think it would be awesome to have a movie made! I've seen someone suggest Ben Barnes and Dimitri and I think that would be a perfect choice :) Great pick!
