As a book blogger, how do you introduce yourself in your profile?
I can't even remember what I have on my profile, and I'm to lazy to look. I think it has something to do with what books really got me started on reading. Some goofy little saying I came up with.

It's that pesky magic book fairy again! She has another wish: What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?
Ya know I feel like I've answered this a billion times, and you would think after so many times that, maybe my answer would change, but to be honest it never does. I think I would like The Vampire Academy. Yes, I get if you have that world then you'll have the Strigoi, but you get awesome Guardians like Rose and Dimitri, and Eddie (I gotta give Eddie props because of Bloodlines). Not only them, but you have the Alchemist which I know they don't like the vampires or the Dhampirs because they're un-natural, but they have some pretty cool stuff.Read more I have a video and everything!
What's been happening here lately?
Okay, first things first I have gotten about 50 followers this past week which I'm freakin stoked about. I really need to do something in honor of it. As much as I go to our used bookstore, and knowing they have some awesome books that I have, but others may not. I may hold out until I get 500, and make it super special. Until then what kind of books would you like to see as giveaways? Most that I find are a maybe a year or so old. Go ahead and tell me here, but be on the look out for a post about this topic sometime this week or next because I'm curious.

I haven't read the Vampire Academy series yet :P If I was going to bring a vamp series to life though it would either be L.J. Smith's The Vampire Diaries (the original series, not the return), Rachel Caine's Morganville Vampires, OR Charlaine Harris's Southern Vampire Mysteries (because who wouldn't want Eric Northman to be real?) :)

LOL-I DO have the first book in the series. I haven't read it yet because I've heard such amazing things about the series that I want to pick up the second and third book before I start reading :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I about had a heart attack. It drives nuts when someones says they haven't read it. I'm like why the heck not. I'm telling you I'm on a mission from the Vampire academy gods to spread my love of the series. I'll have to see what I can do. :)

oops! I didn't actually watch the Vlog. I have now and yes! I love the new glasses. Especially the small bit of side detail. They look a lot more sturdy than your last pair too :)
ReplyDeleteI loved Vampire Academy too and that was definitely one of my choices, as well as Harry Potter - frankly I think it should be a two-fer haha. Hogwarts and Vampire Academy together in the same world!! It should happen!
