Book Tropes
Hi dear readers! Welcome to day 17 of the #BookBlogWriMo!
11/17 – Favorite Book Tropes - Friends with benefits? Manic pixie dream girl? What cliche-type things do you never get sick of?
(Sorry I like me some Jensen)
I'm not gonna lie when I saw this one I was like WTH is a trope! So basically when I don't know something I go google it. I figured I'd add what it is here just in case someone was like me and didn't know either. (Then again I could just be dumb)
In literature, a trope is a familiar and repeated symbol, meme, theme, motif, style, character or thing that permeates a particular type of literature. They are usually tied heavily to genre. For example, tropes in horror literature and film include the mad scientist or a dark and stormy night. Tropes can also be plots or events, such as the science fiction trope of an alien invasion that is deterred at the last minute.-Wikipedia
So basically it's a cliche.
The Quirky BFF
I'll admit I kind love this idea of the best friends being quirky and goofy. Sometimes they're just like our MC and other times they are the opposite of the friend. Our friends are usually the comic relief in tough situations.

The once ordinary character turned special
I love seeing characters grow into who they're going to be.
Boarding Schools
I enjoy books that have the MC at boarding schools
Like: Harry Potter, The Gallagher Girls, Hex Hall,
