Hardback, trade paperback or mass market paperback?
I'd have to say trade paperback. They're just lighter and easier to carry places.
Barnes & Noble or Borders?
Hnestly I don't go to either of them unless I really want a book I can't find elsewhere. My choice is Half Price Books
Bookmark or dog-ear?
Bookmark or dog-ear?
Bookmark, but mine aren't actually bookmarks )even though I have plenty of them) I use paper so I can scribble notes.
Amazon or brick-and-mortar?
Amazon. I'm not sure what brick and Mortar is I'll have to look it up.

Alphabetize by author, or alphabetize by title, or random?
I'm more of a random person. If it's a series I'll put those together. If I have lots of books by one author those go together. Random works for me.
Keep, throw away, or sell?
Keep them I would never throw them away if I didn't want them anymore I would see if someone else did or taken them to HPB.
Keep dust jacket or toss it?
Why on earth would you throw away any part of a book?
Read with dust jacket or remove it?
Remove it usually.

Short story or novel?
Novels, usually. Unless the anthology sounds good then I'll try it.
Harry Potter or Lemony Snicket?
Harry Potter, because who doesn't want to be a wizard?

Stop reading when tired or at chapter breaks?
I usually try to stop at chapter breaks, but sometimes it doesn't work. Getting interrupted when reading sucks.
“It was a dark and stormy night” or “Once upon a time”?
How about "Once upon a time, on a dark and stormy night..." That sounds much better.

(The above was the other persons answer. Totally love it)
Buy or borrow?
Buy, and boy does my wallet feel it everytime. :)
Tidy ending or cliffhanger?
I think it depends on how much of a cliffhanger it is. I mean if it wraps it up but still leaves a little that's cool.
Morning reading, afternoon reading, or nighttime reading?
Nighttime reading just because I'm more of a nighttime person.
Stand-alone or series?
Both. Series are fun because you can hang on to those characters lives a little longer. Stand alones are good if the plot and everything else is well written.
Favorite books read last year?
LAST SACRIFICE!
Favorite book of which nobody else has heard?
I think most book I have people have heard of.
Favorite YA book?
Last Sacrifice, I was very pleased with it.
Favorite children’s book?
Do the American Girls count?
Favorite series?
Hands down Vampire Academy. Anyone who knows me could answer this one.
Favorite books of all time?
Really?
Buy or borrow?
Buying choice: book reviews, recommendations, or browse?
I usually browse I could spend hours looking through the bookshelves at HPB. Although I do like to read the reviews to see what other people think.

Really?
What are you reading right now?
The Adoration of Jenna Fox, and The Duff
What are you reading next?
I couldn't say I change my mind at the last minute.
Do you ever smell books?
Occasionally
Do you ever read primary source documents like letters or diaries?
Do my own diaries count?
Which book do you irrationally cringe away from reading, despite seeing only positive reviews?
None, I try to give all books an equal chance.
If you could bring three characters to life for a social event (afternoon tea, a night of clubbing, perhaps a world cruise), who would they be and what would the event be?
Rose from VA, Calla from Nightshade, Frannie from Personal Demons and then it could be a girls night out
(Borrowing shamelessly from the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde): you are told you can’t die until you read the most boring novel on the planet. While this immortality is great for awhile, eventually you realize it’s past time to die. Which book would you expect to get you a nice grave?
Star wars or the lord of the rings. (i'm not big on the sci-fi thing)
Come on, we’ve all been there. Which book have you pretended, or at least hinted, that you’ve read, when in fact you’ve been nowhere near it?
None that I can think of
As an addition to the last question, has there been a book that you really thought you had read, only to realise when you read a review about it/go to ‘reread’ it that you haven’t? Which book?
No because I like to write down what books I read
You’re interviewing for the post of Official Book Advisor to some VIP (who’s not a big reader). What’s the first book you’d recommend and why? (If you feel like you’d have to know the person, go ahead and personalize the VIP.)
I think it would depend on what kind of person they are, but see what kind of movies they like and go from there.
A good fairy comes and grants you one wish: you will have perfect reading comprehension in the foreign language of your choice. Which language do you go with?
Spanish because I would love to be able to speak and read it regaurdless.
A mischievious fairy comes and says that you must choose one book that you will reread once a year for the rest of your life (you can read other books as well). Which book would you pick?
Vampire academy
That good fairy is back for one final visit. Now, she’s granting you your dream library! Describe it. Is everything leatherbound? Is it full of first edition hardcovers? Pristine trade paperbacks? Perhaps a few favourite authors have inscribed their works? Go ahead—let your imagination run free.
Oh my you know in my head I can totally see it, but describing is not one of my strong points. It would have to have tons of bookshelves maybe built into the walls. Then some random ones throughout the room that aren't regular bookshelf looking. Nice comfy chairs, Maybe a bay window where you could sit out and look at a nice view. Book that all matched each other whether the series be hardback or paperback. (just all the same). I could probably go on and on.

I feel like I'm on repeat. VA series.
