Another book weekend
Well you should know by now that my weekends consist of Half Price Books. I actually went by myself Saturday. I spent quite a bit of money there, but in my defense I decided I would get some books that I have (and already read) and use them for giveaways. I mean seriously they had some awesome books this week. If I could I would have gotten tons more to use as giveaways. Maybe next week if I go and they still have them I will. The only problem is I don't know how people feel about getting one book in the series but not the other. Like they had a few Torment books by Lauren Kate but since that's the sequel. How good is that unless you have the first or want to buy it yourself. They also had some Hush, Hush books that I wanted to get so hopefully they will still be there. Like i said thoough I did get two books that are the begining of a series. (I've read the first book, and loved it. It has all sorts of supernautral being in it.) I have the second book, but haven't read it yet. The third I don't have at all, and I think a 4th is coming out April 2011. Anyways, I'm babbling I also went to the other one today (well Sunday) and found some freaking awesome books. I was excited to see they had these. (They'll be in an upcoming IMM though)

I really wish we had a half price books here in Canada. I would save so much money. The Canadian prices are so much more, and it hurts my bank account.

I don't know what I would do without mine here. I don't even go into regualr book stores unless I really, REALLY want a book I can't find anywhere else.

I was just thinking the same thing as Sara: I wish we had a Half-Price Books in Canada. But then I scroll down and see Small Review's comment and I agree, I think my wallet would take a beating if we did! Hope you enjoy Mockingjay! And cool postcard book! :)
ReplyDeleteSR- LOL Oh my wallat feels it very much, but I since I've lessened my bills the past month so I have some extra money to use also. Cool that's good to know I might just have to see what I can find. They'll probably books that look interesting to me, or are/were the topic of alot blogs. (Just depends on what I find) I really do enjoy buying things for other people just because I did it for my friend here, but since we no longer talk. I still have that tendency to buy for others. Plus I noticed alot of people don't have a HPB.
