Reverse Thursday: Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

Reverse Thursday is a feature/MeMe that I think I came up with. I haven't seen anything like it around. If there is I'm sorry just let me know, and I can give credit where due. :)
What is Reverse Thursday you ask?
Well I started thinking that we give so much love to those books that we are waiting on that aren't released yet that maybe we forget those that have been out for awhile. I know I'm totally horrible about this. That's why so many older books go unread by me. So to fix that problem Reverse Thursday was born. It's kind of like a TBT (Throwback Thursday for books)

What I picked this week?
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Hardcover372 pages
Published December 2nd 2010 by Dutton Juvenile

Outline:
Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris--until she meets Étienne St. Clair. Smart, charming, beautiful, Étienne has it all...including a serious girlfriend.

But in the City of Light, wishes have a way of coming true. Will a year of romantic near-misses end with their long-awaited French kiss?

Why I chose this?
It was so hyped up that I think I kind of let it slip through the reading cracks, but I really want to see
why there are so many good reviews on it.

Books in this series
Lola and the boy next door
Isla and the happily ever after

  1. I haven't read Anna and the French Kiss. It is typical of me that if I don't read it right away and the hype gets to be too much, I take a pass. There are times when I wonder why I waited so long because the book ends up rocking my world, and then there are times that all the hype leads to a big let down.

    1. I totally know that feeling. I think that's why I've missed so many of the hyped books.
