Top Ten Tuesday: A Love/Hate Relationship with Romances

Hi everybody! How's everyone's week been going?

Todays topic is things I like/dislike about romance books or in books.
I'm gonna go with most list will probably look very similar.

Love

1. Slow build to a relationship
    I'm all for that slow build to a relationship. There really isn't a reason to just go all in one day after meeting the person. Get to know who they are, spend time with them. You only get one life.

2. Good guys get the girl
    Every once in a while it's nice to see the boy next door/best friend get the girl

3. Honesty-

    I've seen to many people get hurt by lying and not being fateful.

4. Comedic Commentary

     I love when the couple can have the snarkiness and banter back and forth with each other and not take it personal. (Example Rose and Dimitri)

5.Happy Endings-

    What can I say I'm a sucker for happy endings. I love when those characters you want to end up together do.

Hate

6. Insta-Love
    I'm sure this one and the one below will be on just about everyones. SO there's no need to explain.

7. Triangles

     I hate love triangles, unless there is a legitimate reason for the lovee to have two lovers forget it. Don't just add a third person because it's something to do and mess with the lovee.

8. Ownership

    I'm sorry do I look like your bitch. No...just no...you better treat me like your equal.

9. Being told that the couple loves each other

    Don't tell me that they love each other show me.
