Top Ten Tuesday: Villains We Love to Hate

Most of the Villains on here are lovable in a weird way, but some weren't. The dad in burned/smoke was not lovable at all but he was memorable because of how cruel/hateful he was. Aidan in Illuminae was the AI, and if I remember correctly he started off ok but he got a bit crazier as the story progressed.
Alastor in The dreadful tale of Prosper Redding was the demon who possessed Prosper. I that he was in a weird way lovable but a bit crazy. When Prosper found out he had a demon inside him the banter those two had was great.
Kaz in Six of Crows was the leader of the ragtag group of thieves. He was, for the most part, a snide, ruthless character who was in my opinion only in it for his own personal reasons. Then why do I say he is somewhat lovable? Well, once in a while you would get to see that maybe he had feelings for a few other than himself. He would have a look or something that you would be like awww there's a Kaz we can love.
The Beast from Beauty and the beast we should all know why he's a lovable villain. He started off hardcore and a beast, but eventually, he grew to love, and that love made for some awesome scenes.
Queen of hearts from Alice in wonderland whose going to tell me this lady shouldn't be on the list. I have a few books that revolve around her and so far the one I read was interesting.
The Commandment from An Ember in the Ashes from what I remember of her there wasn't much to actually love, but the way her character was portrayed to us as being this hardass, ruthless government type official was definitely memorable to me.
Legend and Jacks from Caraval are a few of the main characters in Legendary and if I say much about them it would give away some of the story. Just know as cruel and hard as they seem, like most of these characters on the list they have those moments where you want to hug them.
Rhysand/Tamlin/King of Hybern from ACOTAR I know I kind of cheated on this one and threw in a few from the series, but it's because of the dynamics of their characters changes throughout the series with the exception of the king of hyburn. Tamlin started off a guy that I adored in ACOTAR and Rhys not so much, but after reading ACOMAF the tables completely flipped, and Rhys was and will forever be my favorite.

Top Ten Tuesday: Longest books I've ever read

Hi everybody! How's everyone's week been going?

These are the top 10 (well 12) longest books I've read by page numbers.

I got these through Goodreads so more than likely it should be right.

If you notice most are from Harry Potter series, Twilight Series and The Night World Series. All of which I've read when I first started this site. :)
Then, of course, two ACOTAR books and Illuminae.

Have you guys read any of these books? What were your opinions?

Top Ten Tuesday: Moms in the Ya World

Hi everybody! How's everyone's week been going?

This week's topic: Mother's Day related Freebie: favorite moms in literature, books about motherhood, best mother/daughter or son relationships, books to buy your mom, worst moms in literature, etc. etc.

I couldn't really go with one topic or another so I have a variety on Moms from the Ya World
Yes, I have read all the books on my list. I tried to toss in a few that maybe some don't know about or ones that may be over-looked.
1. Lily Potter:
Harry's Mom from Harry Potter Series- We all know why she made this list, and if not her love is what protected Harry from Voldemort the night he killed Harry's parents.

2. Janine Hathaway:
Rose's Mom from Vampire Academy- If you've read the story then you're probably wondering why she's on here because we know she left Rose to stay as Guardian, but even though there are times throughout when Rose complains about her I still believe her Mother cares deeply for Rose, and was trying to give her a better life.

3. Esme Cullen:
Edward Cullens Mom from Twilight- She was so accepting of her family and of Bella becoming part of the family.

4.Eileen Sweeney:
Cara Sweeney's Mom from the Alienated Series- She is loving toward Aleyex when he comes to their home as a planet exchange student.  You can tell that her family loves her throughout the series.

5. Natalie Prior:
Tris' Mom from Divergent- The sacrifices she makes in the first books proves what a mom would do for her kids.

6. Molly Weasley:
Ron's Mom from Harry Potter- She also took in Harry like her own and I just loved everything about her.

7. Kat Griffith-
Sunshine's Mom from The Haunting of Sunshine Girl- Kat is actually Sunshines adopted mother, but took her in when she found her at the hospital she worked at. You can tell from the way Sunshine talks about her mom how much of a close bond they share.

8. Rachel Morgan:
Cammie Morgan's Mom in The Gallagher Girl Series- She is actually the headmistress at Cammies school, but through all that tough exterior there is a gentle soul.

9. Annabel Holloway:
Lena's Mom in the Delirium Series- What we first learn of Annabel in the first book if that she jumped and took her own life so maybe you're wondering why she's on the list. If you read the other stories we learn things about her mom that show the true heart that Lena's mom possessed.

10. Kat Hall:
Mia's Mom from If I stay- Although, she passed away in the car accident that killed Mias entire family. We get to see snippets of how she supported Mia's music throughout the book.
