What’s your name? Ashley

Where in the world are you blogging from?
Dallas, Texas (well close to Dallas)

How did you get into blogging in the first place? I discovered a place we all know as Goodreads back in 2010 where I found, an awesome blogger, Kristi (whose site is no longer online). From there on I just kind of browsed around the book blogging community, and decided it was something I wanted to be a part of. :)

How did you come up with your blog name? 

Actually it sort of came from my sister in law when she said I needed to join a group.

What genre do you read and review the most on your blog? 

Is YA a genre, yes/no? Okay, well if it is that's what I mostly read and within that I'm usually game for anything, Fantasy, dystopian, paranormal, realistic.

What other types of posts do you do on your blog, apart from reviews? 

I'll try doing discussions, I do waiting on Wed, and Top 10 Tuesdays. I even had my own feature "Are you a bookaholic?" that I tried, and I'm thinking I might start that again if it's something people are interested in.

Best blogging experience so far? 

Everything! I've loved getting to know the ins and outs of book blogging, Meeting new friends who love to read, going to book events and meeting authors.

Favorite thing about the blogging community?

The people no doubt!

Name the 5 books you’re most excited for this 2015! 

The Dead Girls of Hysteria Hall by Katie Alender, Being Jinn, and I know there are more I just gotta think.

What’s an underrated book or series that you think everyone should read?

Vegas Dazzle by Pam Langsam. I read this one awhile back and really enjoyed and I even got to do an interview with the author over the phone. She was extremely sweet.

Which book boy or girl would be your book BFF? 

Rose from Vampire Academy. I'm not gonna lie she will forever and always be one that I would choose.

Apart from reading, what are your other hobbies or interests? 

Writing. It's sad but I really don't have any other hobbies because I'm either working, or spending time with my husband. I like photography or trying to design websites.

Apart from book shopping, what else do you like shopping for? 

Movies. Ask my lovely husband I'm like a blockbuster or Redbox. I have tons and tons of movies.

At a party, the DJ suddenly changes the song – and it’s your song. What song would be playing? 

I've always had an attachment to Maybe by Sick Puppies

Pick out either a book you want turned into a film/TV show, or a film/TV show you want turned into a book.

I just finished Uninvited by Sophie Jordan I think that would make for an interesting movie, or The Gallagher Girl Books by Ally Carter.
