OUTLINE:Since the gripping conclusion of Once A Witch, Tamsin Greene has been haunted by her grandmother's prophecy that she will soon be forced to make a crucial decision—one so terrible that it could harm her family forever. When she discovers that her enemy, Alistair Knight, went back in time to Victorian-era New York in order to destroy her family, Tamsin is forced to follow him into the past. Stranded all alone in the nineteenth century, Tamsin soon finds herself disguised as a lady's maid in the terrifying mansion of the evil Knight family, avoiding the watchful eye of the vicious matron, La Spider, and fending off the advances of Liam Knight.

MY THOUGHTS:
I loved it and that's saying alot because I haven't read the first one yet. :( I know shame shame. I put it on my to order list. So for starters not having read the first one I found it very easy to understand what was going on right away. Which to me is a plus. In the story itself the characters did tell about things that happened in book one, which for me made it all the more reason to read the first book as soon as I can buy it.
The main part of the story revolves around Tamsin traveling back to around 1887 to warn her past family about a danger that good ruin the Greene Family. How can she possible do that without her timetraveling boyfriend? Well once she finds the way. She manages to get there and wiggles her way into the Knight's household. What exactly goes on there? You'll have to read and find out. It has exciting twists and turns and roundabouts. :) I will say that the ending not so much what I was expecting. I did enjoy it.
I'm also a fan of the whole Talents. Not all the characters can do the same as the others. They all have well "Talents" from freezing, fire, reading this book (like a teller),timetraveling, bodyslipping (don't actually know what it's called), absorbing others talents, and some others those are the main ones though.
I loved the MC from the beginning of the story and all the rest of the characters. Tamsin is full of witty comebacks and she seems to care alot about her family (even if she does mess with Rowena and the dress she picked out for the wedding for Tamsin). Everyone of the family members were funny. Uncle Chester and his fixing things like the teapot to make it sing "I'm a little teapot" too funny. The grandmother even though she didn't do or say much. What she did have to say was plenty. Like all Grandmas she's wise. Gabriel oh Gabriel the awesome boyfriend (and timetraveler) cares alot for Tamsin. He's just the all around good guy. *sigh* The best friend Agatha, who didn't have a big part but never the less was a good character/friend.
Even the Knight Family were great, they were somewhat disturbing, but that's what makes villians good.
I can only hope a third will come from it. :)
MEMORABLE QUOTES:
-Where's Rowena? She asks. (Mom)
I froze her I say. "She makes a great statue in the garden." (Tamsin)
You did?....I mean you did what? You can't just freeze your sister.(mom)
It'll wear off in a week..or two. Is there anything to eat in here? (Tamsin)
-Mmmm, so good. Even if it is posionious. Go on I dare you. (Tamsin to Gabriel)
-Yes, I'll live or Yes the second cake she just ate is okay. Kind of important to be specific here. (Gabriel to Tamsins mom)
-Ok, I'm sensing a dry cleaner is not an option here. (Tamsin on being stuck in the past)
-Thom sent you? That doesn't make any sense. why? Then I decide since my grandmother frequently seems to fling me into dangerous situations it must be a Greene family trait. (Tamsin to Isobel)
