So if you haven't heard of this awesome thing going on it's Called R.A.K or Random acts of kindness. Hosted by The girls over at Book Soulmates. It happens every month you sign up and your able to look at others wishlist and make some of their bookiness dreams come true by sending them something on that list. I know it feels good to me when I'm able to send some things to people who just like me love books. I especially like to send books I've read and liked. It's always a nice feeling to get a surprise on your doorstep (or mailbox) and no that just maybe somebody is thinking of you. When you've had a bad day and there's a package nothing is better than opening it and finding a book or whatnot. :) I can not tell you how many times I've come home from a crappy day, and there's something there. Also, the joys of being able to go to a bookstore and look around for those books on people's list. I love bookstores and browsing them so I love to do this. If that hasn't made yo want to go check it out well then...oh just go on and check it out. :)

ReplyDeleteI finally signed up this month. Well, just a little while ago. I just made my post. How often do you shop for folks? Is it just random? I could really get myself in trouble with this! I already bought 4 things and it's only May 6th. ;-)
I just look at people's list and then when I got to the bookstore I look for those books, and I'll get them and ask if they would like me to send them. I guess it's kind of random. i definitely get myself in trouble, but it's fun.
