If you have, or would have a daughter, what book would you want your daughter to read?
If I had a daughter I would let her choose books that fit her age at the time, or if I've read them and find that they're ok then that's fine also. If you tell a child they can't do something they're more than likely going to do it. Same with books I would assume you tell them you can't read those types. They'll find a way. I would never so no you can't read that, unless it's age range is way out of the child age. Does that make sense?What's your thoughts?

ReplyDeleteI feel the same as you. If we tell our children they can't do something, they'll want to do it all the more. I'd want my children to have all of the resources they need to make educated decisions and learn from their mistakes.

That's a fair point. I would definitely let my child read what she wants to an extent, but I would definitely point them in the direction of some of my favourite series :) I'm a new follower!
