Summer Surge Readathon #4: Character Personality

It's time for the third challenge, the Character Personality Challenge.
All you have to do is choose five different characters from five different books you've read in 2014 that you think reflect a part of your personality. Male or female, adult or child, the choice is yours.

This is my CPC:
1. Claire from 17 First Kisses- She's tomboyish, yet she can be girlie when the time calls for it.
2. Melissa from Rage by Jackie Morse Kessler- emotional
3. Peyton from Sean Griswolds Head- Nerdy, likes basketball. staying away from people because she doesn't think shes good enough.
4. Katniss from The Hunger Games- Not because she's strong and kick-ass, but because the loyalty she has for her family and friends.

Summer Surge Readathon Challenge 2:Twitter Book Recommendation

The challenge consists of you recommending four different books from four different genres, but you can only use 140 characters in which to do so. You can't use plot points, character names, spoilers, snippets of the synopsis and must be in your own words.

Well here goes nothing! I'm pretty sure these are all somewhat different genres, and I would love it if you could go to the ones that have reviews and leave a comment. :)

Recommendation #1
If I stay by Gayle Forman (Review here)
Recommendation #2
Unbreakable by Kami Garcia

Recommendation #3
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi (review here)

Recommendation #4
The Deep End of the Ocean by Jacquelyn Mitchard

What are some of your recommendations? Have you read any of these? If so did you enjoy them? Were my recs somewhat true?

Readthon: Summer Surge Challenge 1: Spell it out

Hosted by Book Badger
So here is my spell it out challenge.

Something strange and deadly by Susan Dennard (Read)
Wings of the wicked by Courtney A. Moulton
Illuminate by Aimee Agresti
Magnolia league by Katie Crouch
Mephisto Covenant: Redemption of Ajax y Trinity Fagan
I become Shadow by Joe Shine (read)
Nameless by Lili St.Crow
Girl of nightmares by Kendare Blake (read)

Below here are a few pictures I took of it spelled out with the books. I took it from different angles. lol. What can I say I'm a visual person.

I chose swimming because when I was younger that's pretty much all I did all summer long. My grandma had a pool and my cousins and I would always be over her house swimming and eating pizza most days playing goofy games in the pool. We would be mermaids, singers (like the girl version of Backstreets Boys or the Spice girls.) it was fun to be little and have cousins who were around your age.
