Top Ten Tuesday: Moms in the Ya World

Hi everybody! How's everyone's week been going?

This week's topic: Mother's Day related Freebiefavorite moms in literature, books about motherhood, best mother/daughter or son relationships, books to buy your mom, worst moms in literature, etc. etc.

I couldn't really go with one topic or another so I have a variety on Moms from the Ya World
Yes, I have read all the books on my list. I tried to toss in a few that maybe some don't know about or ones that may be over-looked.
1. Lily Potter:
Harry's Mom from Harry Potter Series- We all know why she made this list, and if not her love is what protected Harry from Voldemort the night he killed Harry's parents.

2. Janine Hathaway:
Rose's Mom from Vampire Academy- If you've read the story then you're probably wondering why she's on here because we know she left Rose to stay as Guardian, but even though there are times throughout when Rose complains about her I still believe her Mother cares deeply for Rose, and was trying to give her a better life.

3. Esme Cullen:
Edward Cullens Mom from Twilight- She was so accepting of her family and of Bella becoming part of the family.

4.Eileen Sweeney:
Cara Sweeney's Mom from the Alienated Series- She is loving toward Aleyex when he comes to their home as a planet exchange student.  You can tell that her family loves her throughout the series.

5. Natalie Prior:
Tris' Mom from Divergent- The sacrifices she makes in the first books proves what a mom would do for her kids.

6. Molly Weasley:
Ron's Mom from Harry Potter- She also took in Harry like her own and I just loved everything about her.

7. Kat Griffith-
Sunshine's Mom from The Haunting of Sunshine Girl- Kat is actually Sunshines adopted mother, but took her in when she found her at the hospital she worked at. You can tell from the way Sunshine talks about her mom how much of a close bond they share.

8. Rachel Morgan:
Cammie Morgan's Mom in The Gallagher Girl Series- She is actually the headmistress at Cammies school, but through all that tough exterior there is a gentle soul.

9. Annabel Holloway:
Lena's Mom in the Delirium Series- What we first learn of Annabel in the first book if that she jumped and took her own life so maybe you're wondering why she's on the list. If you read the other stories we learn things about her mom that show the true heart that Lena's mom possessed.

10. Kat Hall:
Mia's Mom from If I stay- Although, she passed away in the car accident that killed Mias entire family. We get to see snippets of how she supported Mia's music throughout the book.

Readathon: Bout of Books 19: Seasons of Books

Seasons of Books
Choose 4 books, each representing a different season. Spring, summer, winter, and autumn. What was your reason for choosing each book? Color of the cover, title, character attitude, setting, or overall theme/feeling of the work? Share your selections on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #seasonsofbooks and #boutofbooks, or share your selections in the comments below!
I picked these books because of the covers.

All Four Seasons

This cover just yelled spring at me because of the field, colors, butterflies

This one was summery looking because of the two people in the water and the colors.

I think it was the trees and just the path and rustic colors that made me think of Autumn

This one the cover made me shiver a little because of the way the girl is standing and the ground in snowy it looks like. (Note I have read this book)

What do you all think?
