Social Media: Follow the Yellow Brick Road to Bookstagram (1)

I'm really trying to keep up with my instagram account this year as one of my blogger resolutions. In doing so I wanted to find other accounts like mine that relate to books. In the book community we call these accounts bookstagrams. As of right now I follow a ton, but I'm always looking for others that are full of life, and color, and pictures that just grab my attention. I want to give shout outs to some of these beautiful accounts so every week (I haven't decided what day.) I'm going to showcase 5 accounts that I've found within the past few weeks that caught my eye. The pictures below the account names will be the photo that did it for me. You might notice in this weeks there's a bit of a theme. This may or may not happen as there are certain things I love when looking at the pictures (besides the books in them)

I will try to give a brief description on why I chose these particular pictures and accounts.

There were a few things that caught my eye with this account. The setup of it is amazing. I've tried taking pictures for #socksunday on my bed with books and a few props and they always turn out horrible in my opinion. I also love all the harry potter stuff going on here.

This one caught my eye because of the colors. The book Open Road Summer by Emery Lord alone is beautiful. I love the cover, but the flowers in the background just go well with the book. The colors mesh well together.

This is another one I love for the colors that are in it. I like how the whites greens blend with the book. and then have just a bit of red.

Most of the pictures on this account have handmade bookmarks by the creators of the account, and the way they display them in the pictures is something I love. The bookmarks are also very beautiful.

I'll admit sometimes I'm not a fan of so much going on in pictures, but this account does it so well. Maybe it's the placement of things, or something I'm not sure. I'm not really sure, but I do know that a lot in these pictures is what caught my eye.
