I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I'm not much of a holiday person so it felt like another day to me. I try and make the best of it though because my husband loves Christmas time and all that matters to me is that he is happy. We visited his family for lunch and had some good Mexican food then visited my mom for awhile, and then home. It was simple and that's all we needed. :)
Here is to a new year and hoping it turns out to be a great one.
Love all my readers and I'm hoping I will be better about keeping up with my blog this year. I noticed last year I started off pretty strong and then the last few months I began to slack. I'm going to try and stay strong all year long.
If you're still around let me know in the comments. I might just have a surprise for you all.
(I have multiples of some books that came out last year.)
A preview
There are a few books behind this one I made it ^ so you
could see the tips of the books.
If I get enough comments I'll do a giveaway.
Went to the movies yesterday and saw "Passengers", while not an awesome movie still pretty good. Piled up next to the woodstove today reading what I know will be an awesome read, J Estep's "Unraveled". Have several other I should be reading for reviews but decided to read something fun today.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a good movie.
DeleteI enjoy the simpler holiday celebrations myself. We got together with my husband's family and had salads, sandwiches, and cookies (too many cookies :). My best presents were books for Christmas. I enjoy building my own library with favorites. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteBooks are always the best presents.
DeleteI'm not a fan of Christmas myself, too many crazy shoppers in small confined areas. Everyone becomes ruder rather than merrier during the holidays. Like you I had some great Mexican food as well.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it seems people do get a bit more aggressive during the holiday times. I love that we changed up the food a bit and had something different.
