MY THOUGHTS
It should have been the worse day in Hadley's life, she missed her flight which was taking her to her dad's wedding in London, and to the start of a new life for him, and the ending to her family. One little missed plane turns everything around.

Before, you move on to reading what's sure to be a gushing review, I'm just going to say be prepared for references to Ryan because I pretty much thought about him while reading it. 

If you haven't read TSPoLaFS (sorry the name is too freakin' long to type out) then you're missing out. For a book that happens in a 24 hour period it does a wonderful job of showing who the characters are and what they're going through. I wish I could have been that person sitting in the chair next to Oliver and Hadley, or heck even the fly they shooed away. I freakin' adored Hadley and Oliver even before the story started I wanted them to end up together, and be happy. Did it happen? You'll have to read it. (Does anyone else skip to the back of the book to see if what you want to happen...happens? Or is that just me?) Anyways, Hadley definitely had her issues at the beginning of the story, but by the end I think she realized things could have been worse for her. I love that characters can grow so much in so little time. Oliver I adored just as much. He kept Hadley concentrating on other things and just being there for her.

The chemistry just seemed to work for them, and yes even if it was a little insta-love there was still enough of that genuine feel to it that it didn't ruin anything. I mean who doesn't want to believe in love at first sight. 

Ever have that book that makes you stop and remember something that happened in your life that was like wow, what if it had happened differently? That's what TSPoLaFS did to me. It made me think well what if I never had transferred from my old store to the new one back a few years ago. Then I would have never met Ryan. I would have never found that person I want to spend my life with. Maybe, I'm exaggerating. Maybe, I'm not it's all really just chance when you think about it. But I owe that little bit of chance a lot because I found that one person I would do anything for and I know he would do anything for me.

Jennifer Smith's writing was also something that made this book so enjoyable. Just the little passages that I found were so heartfelt, and I could easily relate to them.

Some quotes I liked:
-In the end, it's not the changes that will break your heart, it's that tug of familiarity-pg 19

-It seems impossible that she could have liked someone like Mitchell when there was someone like this guy in the world, someone tall, and lanky, with tousled hair, and startling green eyes, and a speck of mustard on his chin, like the one small imperfection that makes the whole painting work somehow. Is it possible not to ever know your type---not even know you have a type--until quite suddenly you do? -pg 31 I think I liked this one because it reminded me so  much of Ryan.

-This house is about two dictionaries away from caving in, and you're buying duplicates? pg 153 This caught my attention do to the book lover side of me, and because it's so true.
