OUTLINE:
EVERY GIRL WHO HAS TAKEN THE TEST HAS DIED.

NOW IT'S KATE'S TURN.

It's always been just Kate and her mom--and her mother is dying. Her last wish? To move back to her childhood home. So Kate's going to start at a new school with no friends, no other family and the fear that her mother won't live past the fall.

Then she meets Henry. Dark. Tortured. And mesmerizing. He claims to be Hades, god of the Underworld--and if she accepts his bargain, he'll keep her mother alive while Kate tries to pass seven tests.

Kate is sure he's crazy--until she sees him bring a girl back from the dead. Now saving her mother seems crazily possible. If she suceeds, she'll become Henry's future bride and a goddess.

IF SHE FAILS...

IN A NUTSHELL
You know me when it comes to things I like I tend to just stick with them. I feel if I venture out into the unknown then I might just be disappointed, and I hate being disappointed in a book so many seemed to enjoy. Thankfully though this was not the case with The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter. I enjoyed learning about Kate and Henry's world. I enjoyed learning about the Greek gods and goddesses. Reading a book like The Goddess Test has opened my mind up to reading other books dealing with Greek mythology. The Goddess Test definitely kept you hanging on for the ride to see who would end up being the villain.  Here are just a few: Highlight to see them. Sorry I don't want to spoil the characters. Could it be James? After all he had everything to gain from it. Maybe, it was Ava? They say keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. Calliope with all her shyness and sweetness. It's always the quiet ones who surprise you.Perhaps it was Ella. I mean after all she didn't particularly like Kate from the start. Or could it be Henry himself? Someone whose lived that long, and had to go through heartbreak might not care to live any longer. Did I make you want to read just to see who the killer is?

CHARACTERS

Sometimes characters are able to grab your attention, other times they're just likable, and then on occasion you just want to beat the crap out of them. This is usually when your poor book gets tossed just enough to feel like you've let the character know that they are being idiots. I'm not really sure what that accomplishes, but I do know that it feels good. So with this being said I had a few problems with the characters and some of their interactions.

ALL IN ALL
