Dan Wells is a thriller and science fiction writer. Born in Utah, he spent his early years reading and writing. He is he author of the Partials series (Partials, Isolation, Fragments, and Ruins), the John Cleaver series (I Am Not a Serial Killer, Mr. Monster, and I Don't Want To Kill You), and a few others (The Hollow City, A Night of Blacker Darkness, etc). He was a Campbell nomine for best new writer, and has won a Hugo award for his work on the podcast Writing Excuses; the podcast is also a multiple winner of the Parsec Award.
Brittany Cavallaro is a poet, fiction writer, and old school Sherlockian. She
is the author of the poetry collection Girl-King (University of Akron) and is the
recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship. She earned her BA in
literature from Middlebury College and her MFA in poetry from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison. Currently, she's a PhD candidate in English literature at the
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she teaches creative writing, detective
fiction, and lots of other things. She lives in Wisconsin with her husband, cat, and

When she’s not traipsing around the world or spending time in imaginary places, Heather Demetrios lives with her husband in New York City. Originally from Los Angeles, she now calls the East Coast home. Heather has an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts and is a recipient of the PEN New England Susan P. Bloom Discovery Award for her debut novel, Something Real. Her other novels include Exquisite Captive, the first in the Dark Caravan Cycle fantasy series, and I’ll Meet You There. She is the founder of Live Your What, an organization dedicated to fostering passion in people of all ages and creating writing opportunities for underserved youth.
